Mary Buchinger
Mary Buchinger is the author of a collection of poems, Roomful of Sparrows
(Finishing Line Press, 2008). Her poems have appeared
in Booth Magazine, AGNI, New Madrid, Runes, Slice, The Massachusetts Review, The Cortland Review, Re)verb, Facets, Penumbra, and The Heat City
Review. She has read her work at the Library of Congress and won the New England Poetry Club's Daniel Varoujan and Firman Houghton Awards. She holds a PhD in applied linguistics
and is associate professor of English and communication studies at the Massachusetts
College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston. (4/2012)
