Marjorie Sandor
Marjorie Sandor (author page at Amazon) is the author of three books, including Portrait of my Mother, Who Posed Nude in Wartime (Sarabande Books), 2004 winner of the National Jewish Book Award in Fiction. Her essay collection, The Night Gardener: A Search for Home (The Lyons Press), won the 2000 Oregon Book Award for Literary Nonfiction. Her stories and essays have appeared in The Best American Short Stories, The Pushcart Prize, The Georgia Review, The New York Times Magazine, and
elsewhere. She teaches in the MFA program in creative writing at Oregon State University in Corvallis. (updated 4/2010)
