Lenard D. Moore
Lenard D. Moore (author page at Amazon) was the first African American to be elected to the post of President of the Haiku Society of America. He has published four volumes of poetry, most recently Forever Home (St. Andrews College Press, 1992) and Desert Storm: A Brief History (Los Hombres Press, 1993). His numerous awards include th Indies Arts Award (1996), the Heron's Nest Award (2001), and the Sam Ragan Fine Arts Award (2006). (updated 6/2010)
