David Ray

) is the author of twenty-one collections of poetry as well as a writer of fiction, essays, and memoir. Among other prizes, including an NEA fellowship for fiction and five PEN Newspaper Syndicate Awards for short stories, he is a two-time winner of the William Carlos Williams Award from the Poetry Society of America.
