Alison Powell

Alison Powell’s poetry has appeared in Crazyhorse, Black Warrior Review, Quarterly West, Guernica, The Best New Poets, and elsewhere. She has work forthcoming in the Boston Review, The Antioch Review, and Women’s Studies Quarterly. She is working toward a PhD in English literature at the CUNY Graduate Center and teaches Romantic poetry and children’s literature at Hunter College. She lives in Brooklyn. (updated 4/2012)
